What Does It Mean To Create?
Read
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Genesis 1:1
You alone are the Lord. You made the heavens, even the highest heavens, and all their starry host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. You give life to everything, and the multitudes of heaven worship you.
Nehemiah 9:6
By the word of the LORD the heavens were made, their starry host by the breath of his mouth. He gathers the waters of the sea into jars; he puts the deep into storehouses. Let all the earth fear the LORD; let all the people of the world revere him. For he spoke, and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm.
Psalm 33:6-9

What is the difference between creating versus making something? Using modeling clay, form a tree, sun, person, or flower.
Whatever shape you picked, you formed it using another substance, the modeling clay. So, in order to make that shape, you needed something to make it from. But when God created the heavens and earth, no other materials existed. This means that he spoke into existence the materials he used to form the earth, stars, trees, humans, and everything else. In other words, God created everything from nothing.
The only way humans can make anything is to use other materials. Only God can create from nothing. God is the Creator of all you see in the world.
